Mode 1 — intelligence inside cells. Each lattice site runs a tiny neural network. The eight directional edge weights are continuous and editable, so changing geometry changes how information propagates.
Mode 2 — intelligence inside the rule. Choose or paint an input seed and desired output. The browser backpropagates through the repeated CA dynamics and fits a reusable nine-parameter local law. Keyboard: Space play/pause, R reset.
